You read that absolutely correctly.
Harrison Williams, an Australian man was filmed mounting a floating carcass of a whale while sharks feasted on it.
“[I was] out on the boat with the boys and one of my mates thought it’d be pretty funny if I surfed the whale, so I just did it,” Williams told Australia’s Seven Network.
Williams’ “friends” didn’t see that there was at least one Great White in the water. Thankfully the shark was too busy focused on it’s meal. Williams told Seven Network he wasn’t too concerned with the sharks because he friends piloted the boat towards the carcass to recue him. He regrets his decision now stating that his parents are not too thrilled with him. He is extremely lucky nothing dangerous happened to him and that no one is pressing charges.
