Since its birth in the mid-1980s, Dancehall has proved itself to be one of di top addi top when it comes to music genres. From Europe to Asia, the showstopping genre has been a force that is loved and respected  worldwide – not bad coming from a  tiny island in the Caribbean. In honor of Jamaica’s recent Independence celebration and today’s Labor Day festivities happening in NYC, I present to you 15 of the most influential and unforgettable riddims in Dancehall history!
