PLEASE FIX IT JESUS.
Wireless service provider, Sprint Corp. has agreed to a mega merger with mobile phone company T-Mobile USA Inc., according to multiple sources over at the Huffington Post.
The wireless giant recently approved the $40/share acquisition on Wednesday and is poised to over take the Deutsche Telekom majority owned company in the nearing future, pending final review of the trade. Other details such as financing and due diligence also need to be worked out among the companies and could take several months before it is finalized. U.S. regulators have expressed concerns over the merge, worrying that it might open the door for the formation of monopolies and leading to significant price jumps for the consumer.
The merge (AKA: The Apocalypse of your bank account), still has quite the amount of restrictions to muddle through before it is approval, so if you’re broke customer of Sprint (like me) you’re in the clear. Now not only will your service be twice as shitty should it go through, you’re unlimited data plan is going to cost you that new Brazilian sew-in! Drink to that!
